Mason Jar Salads are one of the most easy and portable, yet delicious meals out there. Recently, I went on a pretty long hike with some of my best friends, and I simply put the mason jar in my backpack and took it out when we stopped for lunch. It was already prepared for me, and the salad wasn't soggy from dressing or other toppings. Plus, the mason jar with all the bright vegetables just looked so cute!
There's no wrong way to make a mason jar salad, just like there's no wrong way to make an actual salad. Just be sure to put your dressing and any wet fruits on the bottom and the dry stuff on top. I added an example below of one of my favorites: The Fresh And Springy Walnut, Radish, And Apple Mason Jar Salad from eatwithyourmeans.com.
